What We Offer

State Requirements
OREGON HEALTH LICENSING OFFICE requires completion of a 600 hour training program provided by an approved trainer.
To become a licensed professional you must complete the following:
Submit a certification of training form, prescribed by the HLO, verifying completion of an HLO-approved electrology training program.
Submit a passing score of an HLO-approved practical examination administered within two years of the date of application.
Submit a passing score of an HLO-approved written examination, including the National Interstate Council (NIC) electrology written examination, within two years of the date of application.
Submit a passing score of an HLO-approved Oregon Laws and Rules examination related to safety and infection control requirements for electrology, within two years of the date of application.
After passage of all required examinations and before issuance of a license, applicant must pay all license fees.

Our Program
We offer a hybrid program of 600 hours, as required by the Oregon State Health Licensing Office.
200 hours of Home Study covering Theory of Electrolysis
400 hours of Practical Hands On learning
Program can be completed in 6 months
We offer a three day per week schedule for Practical, to allow for a work/life/school balance.

Practical
Students will begin by learning techniques and applying those to a treatment.
Students will work on themselves, each other and clients under supervision of their instructor.
